S&P 500: The second longest bull market on record came within inches (0.3%) of bear market territory as more volatility is in the forecast for 2019.

10-Year U.S. Treasury Notes: Closing 2018 out with a strong rally, 10-year yields hit April 2018 lows as investor anxiety rose to Great Financial Crisis-era levels.

U.S. Dollar: The existing bullish trend of a strong dollar remains, although the Fed’s “near neutral rate” view could act as a factor in shifting this trend in the next year.

Crude Oil: Following the late-2018 trend, crude prices sustain bearish trend entering 2019.

Gold: Geopolitical and economic uncertainty has helped the precious metal exhibit an early bullish trend not seen throughout 2018.
